End of Marketing / Support for Ericsson probes and tech packs in Tivoli Netcool Performance Management and Omnibus

The following is important information regarding the IBM Netcool/OMNIbus probes
and IBM Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager technology packages for Ericsson
equipment.

IBM and Ericsson have been unable to reach an agreement regarding the further
sale and distribution of IBM-developed Netcool/OMNIbus probes and Performance
Manager technology packages for Ericsson equipment. This does not impact the
sale and support of IBM integrations for any other network equipment provider
products. IBM will no longer offer the following products for sale or download.

IBM will continue to provide technical support and defect fixes for existing
customers who are already entitled to the items listed above until 30th
September 2013, when IBM will formally end support of these probes and
technology packages.

The listed IBM Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager technology packages will
remain available for download until 11th October 2012

The listed Netcool/OMNIbus probes will remain available for download until 11th
January 2013.


Netcool/OMNIbus customers may still be able to integrate with Ericsson
equipment using existing and new standards-based probes provided by IBM or
through a services engagement.

All TNPM technology package integration requirements for Ericsson products for
new customers shall be delivered through a services engagement. Services may
be available through engagements with IBM services or an IBM Business Partner.
