Symptom
Encountering 'Cannot open' error trying to open a mdq file using IBM Transformation Extender v10
Cause
The mdq file was created using WebSphere Transformation Extender 8.4.1 when HP-UX was a supported platform.
HP-UX is not a supported platform from ITX V9 onwards.
Environment
Using ITX V10 to open a mdq file created in WTX 8.4.1.
Diagnosing The Problem
Viewing the mdq file in an editor you can see that the platform is set to HPUX which is not supported in V9 onwards.

Resolving The Problem
Amend the mdq file to contain a supported platform.
