Troubleshooting
Problem
When doing import using IBM FileNet Deployment Manager(FNDM), it throws an error.
Symptom
The error message reads:
2013-03-14 04:50:15,517 WARN [pool-12-thread-1] filenet_error.api.com.filenet.apiimpl.imex.LoggingStream - The current import process is attempting to update system properties and the current user does not have security right to do this for object store <>. Some or all of this import may fail until the current user is assigned the "modify certain system properties" right on the object store.
2013-03-14 04:50:15,969 ERROR [pool-12-thread-1] filenet_error.api.com.filenet.apiimpl.imex.LoggingStream - Object has failed the import process because of an error classId=Folder&objectId={E2C01641-C158-449B-9299-920F7762395E}&objectStore={935F31CB-FE99-40CB-BA51-9FC6CC440F78} Method failed because an object or property is read-only. 1 items processed: 0 succeeded, 1 failed.
Cause
The user used to connect to destination environment does not have "modify certain system properties" right on the target object store. Please note, having "full control" does not necessarily mean that it has "modify certain system properties" right.
Resolving The Problem
Grant the user with "modify certain system properties" right for the target object store.
