Question
Cognos Analytics 11 does not show analysis studio, query studio, and event studio. How can I make these visible?
Answer
To enable the legacy studios in IBM Cognos Analytics 11.0.x:
- Open the following folder <cognos_analytics_install>\<configuration>
- open the installData.properties file
- change Configuration.LegacyLaunchable from 0 to 1
- Save and close the file
- Restart the IBM Cognos Analytics Services
Please Note: In order to access the legacy studios, you must be using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
To enable the legacy studios in IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.x:
1. Go to Manage -> Configuration -> System -> Advanced Settings
2. In the Key field enter: Configuration.LegacyLaunchable
3. The "Value" field should auto-populate. If it is 0, change it to 1.
4. Click Apply
