Embedded WebSphere Application Server Admin Console (ISCLite) limitations

Troubleshooting


Problem

You are unable to edit port numbers in IBM Rational Asset Manager v7.2 "embedded" WebSphere Application Server (eWAS) v6.1 console. Clicking on the "Ports" link under Applications in the Rational Asset Manager embedded WebSphere console gives a Page Cannot Be Displayed error in the browser. Server traces also showed an underlying NoClassDefFound error.

Symptom

As an example with embedded WebSphere Application Server v6.1, traces also showed an underlying NoClassDefFound error:
