Embed a Model
About this task
Youcan embed a model within an option class.
To embeda model:
Procedure
- In the Model Groups frame navigate to andselect the model group that contains the model structure you wantto embed. The model name is displayed in the Models and Groups frame.
See Access the Visual Modeler forinformation on how to navigate the model group hierarchy.
- In the Models and Groups frame click onthe model whose structure you want to embed.
Thisdisplays the current structure of the model.
- Click Edit in thetaskbar.
This displays the GeneralInfo tab.
- Click Copy in thetaskbar.
This displays the Copy windowfor embedding models.
- Enter the Destination Option Class by typingor by browsing.
To browse for the optionclass:
- Click Browse.
This displays a Hierarchy Browser.
- Browse the model group hierarchy untilyou find the destination option class.
- Select the destination option class.
- Click Done.
The option class appears in the DestinationOption Class field.
- As desired modify the Destination Name field.
The name defaults to the name of the modelbeing embedded.
- Click Copy in theCopy window.
