Steps

Email Listener

The email Listener Application is a Maximo functionality that receives and processes incoming email messages by using a predefined workflow process with the create, update, or change the status of service requests, incidents, or problems.

Supporting Microsoft Office 365 email Listener Oauth Configuration, users must follow the steps described in this document to have access to request data and proceed with specific instructions.

4. Installing SSL Certificates

The connection to Microsoft Office365 servers requires SSL Certificates. Click here for 7.6.1.2 or 7.6.1.3 environments, and click here for MAS Manage environments.

Important

1. Ensure that the version of the JavaMail API that is included in your Java™ 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition application server is version 1.5.2 or later (Application Server: IBM WebShpere Application Server 9.0.X). Earlier versions do not support 0Auth 2.0.

2. Follow the instructions of the technote email Listener OAuth Configuration with Office 365 - Configuring Email Listeners Application after you follow the steps 1 - 4.

4. Maximo does not support Oauth2 for SMTP.
