Email Listener error: "Client does not have permissions to send as this sender"

Question

The mxe.adminEmail property is associated with the email address of the Service Account and emails from Maximo are successfully sent and delivered when logged in as MAXADMIN.

However, in some functionalities such as "Run Reports", emails are sent with the email of the connected user as a sender and the following error can occur:

[ERROR] [MAXIMO] [] Email send fail exception occurred. Valid Unsent addresses: youremailaddress@yourserver.com com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 550 5.7.60 SMTP; Client does not have permissions to send as this sender

Is this expected behavior?
