The ECuRep email Gateway will be migrated to the standard IBM email service to be able to make use of the advance feature of Cloud security services.
On 26 July 2021 the ECuRep email Gateway will be migrated to the standard IBM email service. This change allows us to make use of the enhanced security features of Cloud-based email services. Starting this day, the ECuRep Mail Gateway will be fully integrated into the IBM email infrastructure, which also means that certain limitations apply:
- The maximum file attachment size is 16 MB (instead of 20 MB)
- Archived attached are only supported if they are no larger than 70 MB after decompression and do not contain more than 256 files
- File types like avi, exe, vbs and several others are blocked
Keep in mind that for communication with the IBM Support team, the Cognitive Support Platform (CSP) is the best choice. You can always add comments to a Case or upload data by using the HTTPS file upload option. Email should be used for non-critical data only.
