Troubleshooting
Problem
User clicks "Maintain - Form Structure - Define", and opens a form (in Excel). User makes a slight change, and then clicks "Controller - Save layout".
Errors appear, similar to:
- duplicate key was found for the object name 'dbo.#FA547DD05
- and NC1_XKONTO already exists
Even if the index is removed, the error returns.
Symptom
Different errors appear at different times.
Example:
On first save this error appears:
The CREATE UNIQUE INDEX statement terminated because a duplicate key was found for the object name 'dbo.#FA547DD05__000000003DE3' and the index name 'NC#FA547DD05'. The duplicate key value is (ZFT , 2M02001 , +0 , AC, $$$$$$, LC , , -1, -1, -1, -1, , , , ).
On the second (and subsequent) attempt(s) to save the layout, this error appears:
"System. RuntimeJnteropServices.COMException (0x8004E14):
The operation failed because an index or statistics with name ‘NClxkonto’ already exists on table ‘xkonto’
Even if the one deletes/remove the index 'NClxkonto' from the table xkonto via MS SQL Management Studio, the error will always return and no form change can be saved.
