Troubleshooting
Problem
When exporting a Web Project to a WAR file, there is a case where IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software and IBM Rational Software Architect generate duplicate files.
Symptom
An example to generate duplicate files in a WAR file.
- In a Web Project, specify a source folder under WebContent.
- Edit a source code file Xyz.java.
- Export the project to a WAR file with 'Export source files'.
- Xyz.java is duplicated in the WAR file.
- Specify an output folder under WebContent.
- Xyz.class is duplicated in the WAR file.
