Troubleshooting
Problem
The following error message is returned in QMF for Workstation or QMF for WebSphere when trying to connect to Db2 using JDBC Type 4 type of connection:
An error occurred while connecting to repository: REP01004. The
following error has occurred while accessing database: DAL01013. Cannot
create connection to server 'server' due to the following: DAL01048.
Driver class name 'com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver' is not loaded. This may be
caused by an incorrect driver class name or missing JDBC driver
libraries.
Symptom
The connection failure results in the QMF application being unusable.
