DRDA/DDM Conjoined Mutual Authority Stops Working After PTF Application

Troubleshooting

Problem

If security updates are applied to one system in a DDM or DRDA connection but not the other, Conjoined Mutual Authority will not work.

Cause

The following security fixes must be applied to both systems using conjoined mutual authority:

Release of IBM iFix Fix
7.3SJ11234SJ11235
7.4SJ11262SJ11261
7.5SJ11232SJ11233
7.6SJ11231SJ11230

If one system does not have the appropriate fixes applied, then a server authentication entry will have to be used until the PTFs can be installed.
