IBM Intelligent Video Analytics helps increase the efficiency of physical security, public safety, and infrastructure management by turning digital video into valuable information. Intelligent Video Analytics is a powerful video analytics solution that generates a rich set of metadata that describes moving objects in a stream of video of a monitored environment.

The Intelligent Video Analytics V2.0 base installation continues to include these functions for live streaming, fixed cameras:

· Real time alerts to call attention to events

· Rich content-based indexing to find critical images and patterns

· Standards-based open and extensible architecture.

In addition to these traditional features, Intelligent Video Analytics V2.0 offers new, optional capabilities that extend the solution:

· Ingestion of pre-recorded videos from both fixed cameras and cameras in motion. With ingested video files, analysts can extract critical information and find relevant images faster, which may help accelerate investigations.

· New automated, intelligent redaction designed to assist agencies in their efforts to meet their compliance and privacy requirements.

· Advanced facial recognition, which may improve lead generation and risk assessment. Matching faces on video to an agency's or organization’s watch list may help them identify persons of interest and speed investigation.

· Advanced people search capabilities based on cognitive analytics that may provide more accurate results

Upgrading from an earlier release of IBM® Intelligent Video Analytics to V2.0 is supported with the assistance of an IBM Services engagement. Deploy IBM Intelligent Video Analytics V2.0 on an environment that meets the minimum system requirements.

Downloading and assembling the product

When you purchase IBM Intelligent Video Analytics, you can download the installation media and the required middleware from the IBM Passport Advantage download site. A direct download link is provided at the bottom of this page.

Log on to the IBM Passport Advantage Online website and download the eAssembly that contains the required installation media.
