Troubleshooting
Problem
I have missing values on a variable X in my data set. I would like to impute values for these missing values by predicting the missing values of X from a linear regression of X on the other variables in the data set. Does the 'linear trend at point' method in the RMV (Replace Missing Values) command impute missing values by regression on other variables in the data? If not, is there another procedure in the SPSS Base module that performs imputation by regression?
