Does IBM DataPower Operations Dashboard have a way to gather latency records for loopback services?

Troubleshooting

Problem

When I try to access the information by using IBM DataPower Operations Dashboard (DPOD) V.1.0.8, I have some Web Services and Multi-Protocol Gateway, which skip backside connections. For these services, when we try to access this information we are unable to gather Service Latency Statistics.

However, when we use the INVESTIGATE and filter with SERVICE NAME, we have all the information we need, especially LATENCY. Is there a Report to have the same information as we would via INVESTIGATE, especially information such as Elapsed Time?

Resolving The Problem

DPOD's detailed latency analysis (elapsed, network, gateway processing for request and response, back-end processing etc) is based on DataPower latency log record:

Latency: 0 2 0 2 3 1 0 4 5 4 5 6 5 5 2 2 [http://172.77.77.3:8153/ApplyForCitizenship_WHS/Service.asmx]

The Latency dashboard is based also on the same record.

When DataPower service is configured as "loopback" (skip backside connection) DataPower does not generate latency record.

When DataPower does not generate the latency record, and the firmware level support micro seconds on the syslog record, we can calculate the transaction elapsed time by counting the time between the first log record and the last.

In that case we display on the transaction details only the elapsed time with remark that the detailed latency analysis is unavailable.

Elapsed Time 3 ms (detailed latency analysis unavailable)
