The Note in this topic, which reads as follows, is incorrect and should be disregarded:
Note: Cognos BI installations on UNIX systems already include the required files and do not require any additional Cognos TM1 installation steps.
Updated installation information
To use Cognos TM1 as a datasource with Cognos Business Intelligence (BI), use the TM1 Client installation program to install the required Cognos TM1 API files on all Cognos BI servers that are running query and report services on Microsoft Windows. For more information, see the topic "Enabling Cognos BI reporting on Cognos TM1 data sources" in the appropriate release for your installation.
