Dock Scheduling Features
Shippers carriers and suppliers can use Dock Scheduling to performthe following tasks:
- Create update and cancel dock appointments.
- Search for orders and shipments based on whether a dock appointmenthas been scheduled or not.
- Find specific orders in a shipment for scheduling the pickup anddelivery.
- View shipment details directly from an appointment and updatethe status as needed.
- Shippers can toggle between the Detail view and the Day view inDock Scheduling.
- Carriers can only use the Detail view. They can see scheduledand unscheduled shipments but cannot access the daily dock schedule.
The following diagram shows how shippers can use the Day view tomanage appointments at a location.
