Problem
This technote explains why the warning []Do you want to save the changes to clearcase.dot?[] appears when Microsoft® Word 2002 or 2003 is integrated with IBM® Rational® ClearCase® and provides suggestions to resolve the issue.
Symptom
Attempts to close Microsoft Word 2002 (XP) or 2003 when integrated with Rational ClearCase add-in results in the following pop-up upon closure:
Note: The warning does not impact the ClearCase operation, affect the integration or otherwise cause problems with the element. It is merely an annoyance.
