Troubleshooting
Problem
When configuring interfaces on an ISVA appliance, IP addresses in the same subnet should reside on the same interface. Do not span the same subnet IP addresses across multiple interfaces.
Symptom
Request packets might arrive over a particular interface/IP address while the response is sent from a different interface/IP address. Switches and firewalls can reject response packets which are returned from a different IP address. An IP address on the ISVA appliance might appear unresponsive, when the packets are actually dropped by the switch or firewall.
