Problem
The Chassis Management Module (CMM), the 'displaysd' command in the Command Line Interface (CLI) will fail to save the service data to a remote location when an incorrect Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) or a protocol that is not allowed by the current security settings is used. The data collection is completed, but the following message will be generated: File transfer failed.

The Chassis Management Module (CMM) displaysd command in the Command Line Interface (CLI) will fail to save the service data to a remote location when an incorrect Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) or a protocol that is not allowed by the current security settings is used.
The data collection is completed, but the following message will be generated:

Affected Configurations
The system can be any of the following IBM servers:
- Flex System Enterprise Chassis, type 8721, any model
The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM options:
- Flex System Chassis Management Module, option part number 68Y7029, any replacement part number (CRU)
This tip is not software specific.
The Build ID: 2PET10J firmware for the Chassis Management Module (CMM) is affected.
The system has the symptom described above.
Solution
This behavior was corrected in IBM Chassis Management Module [CMM] Firmware v1.40.2Q [2PET10Q] FP3.1.1
The file is available by selecting the appropriate Product Group, type of System, Product name, Product machine type, and operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the following URL:
http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/
Workaround
Enter the correct URI to gather service data with the displaysd command.
Additional Information
The 'displaysd' command will be enhanced to check the correctness of the URI and the protocol, and will verify the protocol is compliant with the current security settings prior to the start of the data collection.
