Troubleshooting
Problem
If you are working with a DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows database, the display of Query Execution Time in the SQL Results View is not available when Optim Development Studio is installed into the same package group as Optim Database Administrator.
Cause
Optim Database Administrator uses a SQL Runner for DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows that supports both SQL statements and DB2 commands. The SQL Runner in Optim Development Studio supports executing SQL statements only for DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows, DB2 for z/OS, DB2 for iSeries, Informix Dynamic Server, and Oracle. The Optim Development Studio SQL Runner provides functionality to display Query Execution Time. When Optim Development Studio and Optim Database Administrator are installed into the same package group, the Optim Database Administrator SQL Runner overrides the Optim Development Studio SQL Runner for DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows. Therefore, the Query Execution time is not visible for DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows.
Resolving The Problem
To work around this issue, install Optim Database Administrator and Optim Development Studio in different package groups.
