Is there a way to avoid the display problems in Maximo that may occur when using Internet Explorer version 10?
There is a programmatic solution that will automatically move Maximo users running Internet Explorer 10 to run in IE9 compatibility mode. This will prevent display errors that may occur when using IE10. This solution only effects the Maximo application and not other applications the user may be running on his machine. Support for Internet Explorer version 10 is available for Maximo versions 220.127.116.11 and higher.
Please see the steps below to enable compatibility mode. Please try this first on a test environment.
1. Make a backup copy of
3. Add this line after the line mentioned in step 2:
<meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE9" />
4. Save the file, and rebuild and redeploy the maximo.ear.
