When performing a silent or unattended installation of IBM Director 5.20.1 agent on a supported version of Microsoft Windows with modified diragent.rsp, the network driver configuration in IBM Director 5.20.1 is not updated, but instead shows the defaults.
The user can check by running: \Director\bin\twgipccf.exe

This tip is not hardware specific.
This tip is not option specific.
The system is configured with at least one of the following:
-
IBM Director, 5.20.1
Note: This does not imply that the network operating system will work under all combinations of hardware and software.
Please see the compatibility page for more information:

Solution
---
An updated diragent.rsp is planned for the next release of IBM Director 5.20. The next release of IBM Director 5.20, which is v5.20.2, is planned for Fourth Quarter 2007.
Workaround
---
The recommendation is to add a semi-colon (;) to line 74 of diragent.rsp and then Save.
By default, diragent.rsp is located in \FILES directory of IBM Director 5.20.1 agent install package.
