Problem
This document explains the differences between a FULL DB Backup and DBSNAPSHOT DB Backup.
Resolving The Problem
The DBSNAPSHOT is a one time snapshot of your Tivoli Storage Manager Server Database Backup. It does not interfere with your current Backup Series for the Full/Incremental DB Backups and it does not clear your Archive Logs. The DBSNAPSHOT cannot be used with Incremental DB backups during a Restore process.
