Troubleshooting
Problem
Difference in error logs between EDI Pack map execution on Windows (Design Studio, Command Server, etc) and z/OS Batch mainframe (Command Server).
This issue can arise when using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) Pack for Supply Chain EDI, and specifically the pre-packaged 'compliance' maps.
When running the compliance map from the Supply Chain Pack, the user may get different content in the error file that is output from CCEDF.MMC when it is executed on z/OS compared to when executed in Design Studio.
Symptom
As an example:
When executed from ITX Design Studio on Windows
E2058 The segment at position 59, segment id 'BUS' contains data element errors.
Same file processed on z/OS
E2058 The segment at position {1}, segment id '{2}' contains data element errors.
