Troubleshooting
Problem
When you run DFHJS2LS, the Java™ step fails with return code 255 (RC255). The job output shows an Unhandled exception Type=Segmentation error in Java. The failure occurs after you upgrade to z/OS 2.4 or higher. The job previously ran without errors under z/OS 2.3. You are using Tivoli Asset Discovery for z/OS (TADz).
Symptom
The job output contains the following error when you receive the RC=255:
