Problems Solved
Known Side Effects
The following known issues apply to the DevOps Plan 3.0.0 release:
- Upon accepting an invitation, the application is not being listed for the invited user. The user instead sees an error message that says “You don’t have permission to access the applications.” To workaround the issue, remove the user and add the user again.
- When migrating users from Compass to DevOps Plan, users with a long name and email address may see text overlap into another text box when viewing the user in the “User Management” section of the UI. There is no workaround for this issue.
- Exporting SCM events to JSON is not working as designed. There is no workaround for this issue.
- When cloning and exporting alerts, multiple fields, including the Automation tab data is not being cloned or exported to JSON. There is no workaround for this issue.
- Downloading record details in JSON format does not include attachments. The JSON references the attachment location only.
- When cloning an EmailPlusRule record, the user may see “An error occurred”. To workaround the issue, instead of cloning a record, create a new record.
- DevOps Plan 3.0.0 is not fully translated into French. Various elements of the product may not appear in French, even if your language is switched to French.
- When using Kanban boards, deselecting all columns from WIP limit and clicking on Hide Empty Columns, the board is being loaded with items and lanes that contain data.
- When importing a schema or connection, the global search box may not appear. To workaround the issue, when importing a connection, first disable and then enable Insights to create new elastic.json file and then restart the server.
- When using the TestManagement schema to create a TMTTestCase, you can select Test Step from the Recently Selected view, search for it by ID in the search box, or create a new Test step. When in the Recently Selected view, if there is only one item in the list, the item is not selectable. To work around the issue, search for the test step in the search box and select it from the search box.
- When validating an IBM WatsonX AI integration, you may encounter an error that states “Type Error parsed.Error.Data.error is undefined.” It appears as though validation has failed. If you encounter this error, close the error. The AI assistant should be working as expected.
- When clicking the tenant during application creation, the Alert message incorrectly states “Cannot select Teamspace.” The Alert message should read “Cannot select Tenant.”
- When clicking on Integrations in the Configurations menu item, if you are using Firefox, you may encounter a Server not Found error. To work around the issue, launch the Analytics URL in a new tab of the browser, then refresh the Integrations page in the UI. The Analytics URL can be found in the analtics.restserver.url= property in the application.properties file.
