How can I find the version of the Exchange Server.

Cause

The Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail requirements indicate the specific version of Exchange that is supported: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21219345

Answer

View the build number information by right clicking on the Exchange Server executable and looking at the property information.

From the build number it is possible to determine the Exchange Server Version/ServicePack and release date from the listing at the following Microsoft site:
