Question & Answer
Question
What is DRDB?
Answer
DRDB is an abbreviation for Distributed Replicated Block Device which is a well-known open source kernel-level driver that enables fast mirroring (RAID1) between networked hosts. Using DRBD requires available space on host systems because it duplicates critical NPS data such as the catalog. It also eliminates the need for the MSA500 components.
