Deprecation of IBM Cognos Analytics for big endian Linux on IBM Power systems and for Oracle Solaris

Abstract

IBM Cognos Analytics V11.0 will be the last version release for big endian Linux distributions on IBM Power systems and also the last version release for the Oracle Solaris operating system.

Effective April 11, 2017, IBM deprecates IBM Cognos Analytics for big endian Linux distributions running on IBM Power systems and IBM Cognos Analytics for the Oracle Solaris operating system.

IBM Cognos Analytics V11.0 will be the last version release to support these environments.

Note that support for running IBM Cognos Analytics on little endian Linux distributions on IBM Power systems is unaffected.
