About this task

Youcannot delete an active search index.

You candelete a search index from the Item Catalog Index List screen.

To delete a search index:

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the ItemCatalog Index List screen. To navigate to the Item Catalog Index Listscreen perform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center as anItem Administrator.
    2. From the Products home pageclick Manage Catalog Indexes from the Catalog panel.

      The Item Catalog Index screen is displayed.

  2. In the Index List panel select thecheck box adjacent the index you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. A message asking you for confirmation isdisplayed. Click Yes to delete the index.

    The search index is deleted.
