Delete a Group

About this task

You can deletea group by finding the model group that is the parent of the groupyou want to delete and then deleting the group from that model group.See Delete the Children of a Model Group forthe procedure.

To delete a group:

Procedure

  1. Navigate to and select the model group thatis the parent of the group you want to delete.
  2. In the list box select one or more modelgroups (MG) option class groups (OCG) or option item groups (OIG)to be deleted.
    • You cannot delete a model group if the group haschildren. You must delete the children first.
    • You cannot delete an option class group if it isattached to another model or option class group.
    • You cannot delete an option item group if it isattached to another model option class group or option item group.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Click Save All Changes.

    The model group hierarchy will no longerdisplay the deleted items.
