Delete an Attribute

About this task

Before deleting an attribute ensureit is not assigned to any item or category. Otherwise the detailsof the attributes will not be displayed correctly in the applicationand Web channel application.

To delete an attribute:

Procedure

  1. Navigate to theAttribute Management screen. To navigate to the Attribute Managementscreen perform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center as anItem Administrator.
    2. From the Products home page click ManageAttributes in the Catalog panel.

      The Attribute Management screen is displayed.

  2. The Item Attributes tree is displayedin the Attribute Management screen. From the tree in the ItemAttributes panel select the attribute that you want todelete.
  3. The Manage Attribute Details panelis displayed. Click Delete.
  4. A message asking you for confirmation isdisplayed. Click Yes to delete the attribute.

    The attribute is deleted and the AttributeGroup Details panel pertaining to the attribute group towhich the deleted attribute belonged is displayed.
