Dedicated Fleet Configuration
Use the Shipper Configuration Wizard to define your dedicated fleetprofile including the trucks (referred to as tractors) thatare in this fleet.
In addition to defining your dedicated fleet profile you haveto perform the following configuration steps:
- Define the contract and accessorials that are used to determinecharges for dedicated fleet shipments.
- Define Route Guide rules which control the shipment tenderingprocess.
- Add the users in your organization that will manage dedicatedfleets.
- Configure alerts which track exceptions to dedicated fleet shipments.
- Allocate freight costs from the fleet to the shipments carriedby this fleet.
