Troubleshooting
Problem
When debugging web pages in Rational Application Developer for WebSphere via "Firefox with Firebug", breakpoints are not synchronized between them. If duplicated file names exist in the project, the user will be prompted about which one will be loaded in the Rational Application Developer editor view.
Symptom
Debug web pages in the following way:
• Go to Window > Web Browser and select “Firefox with Firebug”
• Right click over an html file, for instance.
• Select “Debug As”
• Select “Debug on Server”
• Select any web container/server you have configured (e.g. AJAX Test Server, as default)
• Click on Finish. Firefox will open the given web page
• A breakpoint can be set in Firebug and when it takes control, Rational Application Developer will be aware about it and will ask to switch to the debug perspective (if other perspective is present), otherwise it will show the paused thread in the “Debug” view.
Debugging in Rational Application Developer, by setting breakpoints in the debugged files are not going to be reflected to Firebug, nor in the opposite sense.

Debugging in Rational Application Developer and using “Resume” (F8) won't be able to pause in the next reachable breakpoint (e.g. line 8).

If the web project has more than one resource (e.g. JavaScript file), a screen window will ask the user what resource should be loaded
