This technote explains how to resolve a dbclient.exe application error when trying to connect to an IBM® Rational® TestManager (TM) datastore with Sybase SQL Anywhere as the backend database.

Symptom

This message can occur when attempting to connect to any SQL Anywhere Test Datastore or if an attempt is made to create a new one:

  1. Open Sybase Central on the server where the service is running.
  2. Select the Services folder in the left pane.
  3. Select the SQL Anywhere service that is running the Test Datastore.
