Troubleshooting
Problem
The triage of database problems usually require some amount of diagnostic data. The Db2 diagnostic log file (db2diag.log) and notification log can assist both a DBA and an IBM support analyst with triage efforts. However, for complex problems, the diagnostic information available here is sometimes insufficient for root cause identification, and some amount of data collection is put in place for when the problem occurs next.
