DB2 BIND for CIUAPEXT fails with SQLCODE -204 for CIU_SQL_DATA

Problem

Your DB2 DBA is performing the DB2 binds for CICS Interdependency Analyzer for z/OS (CICS IA). The bind for member CIUAPEXT completes with a return code 08 (RC08) and SQLCODE error -204 (SQLCODE-204) for the CIU_SQL_TABLE.

Cause

There was no CIU_SQL_DATA table present in the DB2 database since not upgrading from CICS IA 2.x version.

Resolving The Problem

Do not run the CIUDBN2 job to bind member CIUAPEXT for CICS IA V2 DB2 tables if CICS IA V2 was never previously installed or deployed.
