DataStage Server job using ODBC Common Connector with Oracle read Fails

Troubleshooting


Problem

DataStage Server job that uses the ODBC common connector to read from an Oracle database fails. The view data on the ODBC common connector read stage works correctly and the ODBC common connector works correctly for a Parallel job when accessing the exact same Oracle database.

Symptom

When running a DataStage Server job using an ODBC common connector stage. The following example Fatal error is reported in the DataStage job log:

Message Id: IIS-DSTAGE-GCI-E-0110
Message: ds_loadlibrary: error in dlopen of ccpassive.so - /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/DSEngine/lib/ccpassive.so: undefined symbol: _ZN6DSLink21beginLocalTransactionEv
