Troubleshooting
Problem
When attempting to open the Data Protection for Microsoft SQL GUI, it crashes and does not open up. Instead, the following error is logged :
"Unhandled Exception: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This often indicates that another memory is corrupted."
Symptom
Cannot perform any backup or restore operations because the GUI cannot open and shows the mentioned error once started.
