Data module not showing data from data server: Could not load grid data

Troubleshooting

Problem

Creating a new Data Module from a Data Server connection will not load theGgrid data.

The Data Server connection tests successful and the schema can be loaded. In the Data Module all tables for the connection get displayed.

Symptom

In the Data Module an error message appears:

Could not load grid data: An unexpected exception occurred

In the XQE logs the following error is found:

Caught error in the Query Service: XQE-DAT-0001 Data source adapter error: com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.SqlSyntaxErrorException: The statement failed because the authorization ID does not have the required authorization or privilege to perform the operation. Authorization ID: "[USERID]". Operation: "SELECT". Object: "[Object]"
