Troubleshooting
Problem
When I select the text file, the following message is displayed. I can not open the txt file. [Select data files]->[File Name] I choose txt as a file format. For example: C:\Program Files\SPSSInc\Amos18\Examples\English\Attg_old.txt The error message: System.Exception; The data file (file path), could not be opened for reading.... This error message is displayed on Windows Vista machine. In the case of the WindowsXP machine, this error message is not displayed. I can open the text file on WindowsXP. Is this a bug of Amos18 on Windows Vista? Please test it on WindowsVista.
