Data Exchange in Sterling TMS
Shippers can submit data to Sterling TMS and receivedata using the following standards:
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) such as EDI 204214210850856 and 990 transactions.
- Extensible Markup Language (XML) files for orders and shipments.
- Web Service calls that send and receive XML files.
- Flat files such as the Nistevo Standard Delimited Files (NSDF).Shippers can use NSDF files to import contracts locations areasand orders into Sterling TMS.
Carriers can use EDI transactions to send and receive Sterling TMS data.
