Problem
QMF for Workstation and QMF for WebSphere v12.2.0.4 Fix Pack cannot be configured with Db2 database on AIX box to enable the users to work with QMF objects (Queries, Procedures and Forms) due to a bug in the 12.2.0.4 Fix Pack. The connection to the database works fine and the users should be able to list the database objects, such as tables and views, however the users would not be able to work (display, create new, or run existing Queries, Procedures and Forms).
Symptom
The following error is returned in QMF for Workstation and QMF for WebSphere v12.2.0.4 Fix Pack, when trying to upgrade the QMF Plugin, QMF Catalog, on an Db2 database on AIX box:
DAL010059. An error occurred while accessing the database: "SYSIBM.SYSTABLESPACE" is an undefined name..
SQLCODE=-204, SQLSTATE=42704, DRIVER=4.26.14 Extended error description is: "SYSIBM.SYSTABLESPACE" is an undefined name.
