Problem
When using a web service server to call a web API in IBM Business Process Manager (BPM), you may receive a CWLLG0594E: Malformed URL exception.
Symptom
You may receive the following error:
CWLLG0594E: An exception occurred while initializing the runnable thread. Error: com.lombardisoftware.component.common.workflow.WorkflowProcessItemException: java.net.MalformedURLException
