Troubleshooting
Problem
Using ODBC application with IBM i Access Client Solutions Windows Application Package the following errors are received:
CWBNL0101 - Error occurred while attempting to convert data from code page 280 to 65001
CWBNL0101 - Error occurred while attempting to convert data from code page 65001 to 280
CWBNL0101 - Error occurred while attempting to convert data from code page 65001 to 280
CWBCOTRC trace output shows something similar to:
t=3050 17:26:37.814 [00] NLS: ** ANSI cp=65001 cp=65001Cause
Resolving The Problem
On Windows 10 OS, this issue can be resolved under control panel, "Region" entry, "Administrative" tab, "Change system locale" button then clearing:
"Beta: use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support"
