Question & Answer
Question
How do I customize the display format of dates and times in a ClearQuest query result set?
Answer
Use the User Preferences dialog in the ClearQuest Web client to control the format of dates and times that display in a query result set (on-screen, printed, and exported) and in history and reference list controls on a record form.
On the Result Set tab of the User Preferences dialog, set Result set date format to Long Date, Medium Date, or Short Date:
- Long Date
Month DD, YYYY HH:MM:SS AM/PM time zone offset
June 15, 2000 12:00:00 AM GMT+08:00
Note: The time zone offset corresponds to the time zone of the current user.
- Medium Date
Mon DD, YYYY HH:MM:SS
Jun 15, 2000 12:00:00 AM
- Short Date
MM/DD/YY HH:MM AM/PM
06/15/00 12:00 AM
The long date format is used by default if you do not select a date format.
