Customer PO Commit Timeliness

Question & Answer

Question

Customer PO Commit Timeliness

Answer

Customer PO Commit Timeliness

After a Customer PO is sent to a supplier the supplier is expectedto commit the order within a specified period of time after the orderis created. If an order is committed on time by the supplier thenthe KPI value is 100 otherwise the KPI value is zero.

This KPI metric is computed based on the difference between theorder creation date and the committed date. The supplier is consideredreliable if the difference between the expected date and the actualdate is less than or equal to the configured number of hours.

In case of multiple commitments the first commitment is consideredfor the KPI metric.

The PO Commitment Timeliness KPI is computed as:

Percentage of customer orders committed on time = (Numberof Customer POs committed on time / Total number of Customer POs inthat time period) * 100
