CSV file format for crew data

Data related to crews their location and how they shouldbe represented on the Map needsto be imported into IBM? Work Optimization for Water Utilities foruse in work order scheduling. The data needs to be formatted as acomma-separated value file and imported into IBM Work Optimization for Water Utilities with the crew command.

The first line in the CSV file must be:
OPCREW_NAMENICKNAMECREW_DESCRCREW_LOCATIONCOLOR
Eachdata line in the CSV file must have each line in the following format:
OperationCrew_nameNicknameCrew_descriptionCrew_location#Color
Where:
  • Operation specifies if the crew is to be addedupdated or deleted. Operation is one of the followingone character uppercase values:
    • A specifies that the crew is to be added.
    • U specifies that the existing crew is to beupdated. If the crew does not exist it is added.
    • D specifies that the existing crew is to bedeleted.
  • Crew_name is a unique name for the crew. Crew_name canbe up to 80 characters in length.
  • Nickname is a short informal name for thecrew. Nickname can be up to 20 characters in length.
  • Crew_description is a description of the crew. Crew_description canbe up to 254 characters in length.
  • Crew_location is a value matching an Object_ID defininga depot imported into IBM Work Optimization for Water Utilities. Depots areimported as spatial data. If there isn?t a matching depot the crewwill not be displayed in the IBM Work Optimization for Water Utilities Scheduling portlet.
  • Color is the color to be displayed on the Map forthis crew. Any valid HTML color code can be used.

If a value contains non-alphanumeric charactersfor example spaces or symbols the value must be enclosed in quotationmarks. Otherwise surrounding values with quotation marks is optional.Values cannot include double or single quotation marks. All valuesmust be separated by commas.
